The Louisiana Ghostbusters participated once again in our regularly invited parades during the Mardi Gras season. As usual it rained for all of them but we attribute that to having the same new member present for all three parades. Now I’m not going to mention any names, Jinx, but that kind of sums it up. So here we go:
February 23, 2019 – Once again we were in downtown Baton Rouge for the Krewe of Mystique. Yep, it rained and it was a little cool. We had fun though and made it through the route ok. We passed a lot of the normal crowd we see every year plus a bunch of kids all waiting for not just us to pass but for all the goodies from the parade floats. Here are a few pics from this event.
March 3, 2019 – We were in Livonia for their annual parade. While it wasn’t raining before the event, a strong front passed through just about half way through the parade. It rained some and the wind blew but that didn’t discourage those from coming out to see us. We had a bunch of free time during the float announcements and judging to shake hands and meet people.
March 10, 2019 – We were invited by Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore – Vampire Diaries, Boone Carlyle – Lost) to attend an event that is dear to him in his home town of Mandeville. While it was hot, we managed to score some shade under a tree where we set up ECTO-LA4 and a couple of tents. We were a huge attraction walking the parade route, dancing and doing high fives with the crowd. Rumor has it that Zach Roeig slipped by and got a quick photo with part of the LAGB crew.
