On the weekend of July 9th, 2016, over 350 Ghostheads from around the world descended upon Hollywood, California to witness the red carpet premiere of Ghostbusters: Answer the Call. The Louisiana Ghostbusters sent 12 brave souls…some by plane, some on a 50+ hour road trip. This is part of their story…
Thanks to Ghost Corps, the Sony Ghostbusters Division, for inviting LAGB and honoring us by letting us be a part of this extraordinary event!
Highlights from the trip included:
-Getting to meet worldwide Ghostheads
-Gearing up and sipping Ecto Cooler with friends old and new as we sat in perfect California weather to watch celebrities, cast, and crew walk the slime green carpet.
-Being treated to a rooftop pizza party surrounded by the longest line of Proton Packs ever (Slime blowers that blow bubbles? Check.)
-A night at Dave and Busters playing games and sipping drinks while awaiting the highlight of the evening
-A private audience with director Paul Feig, and then a screening with the biggest Ghostbusters fans in the world of the new movie: Ghostbusters: Answer the Call!
-A morning after brunch with actress Robin Shelby and her husband, actor Sean Spence along with our friends from the Arizona Ghostbusters.
This was a fun-filled amazing afventure for us which we’ll never forget.
